Champaben Patel

President of Panam Mahila Sangathan and advisory group member of the credit cooperative society in Shehara block, Panchmahal. She leads women workers' rights through NREGA from her village to national level as part of the NREGA Sangharsh Morcha. She has transformed knowledge into collective power: demanding work under NREGA, and strengthening a credit cooperative of 4,000+ women in agriculture, by building their identity as women farmers.
